Settings

Settings at a glance: General, Email, Venues, Positions, Ticket design, Gig page, Embeds, Plan and Partner program.

Updated October 12, 2026

Overview

Everything you set once for your organizer or artist is under Settings. The list has four groups: Basics, Events, Sales and Plan. Each row shows its current value on the right, for example the number of your venues or your plan. On a wide screen the page opens beside the list, on a phone the bar at the top leads back.

The search field above the list also finds single settings inside a page. For something that is no longer in Settings, the result names its new place, for example Bookable in Bookings or your Notifications under Me › Account.

You only see the rows that belong to your access and your roles: whoever plans the events maintains venues, positions and the gig page. Whoever keeps the finances sees Plan and Partner program. Everything else is for admins and owners.

Setup

1. Basics

General shows the kind (organizer or artist). Follow the steps for your kind:

As an organizer:

  • Sell tickets turns ticket sales for your events on or off when your plan includes tickets.
  • Bookable leads to Booking. There you decide whether others can send you requests.
  • Responsible person names the legally responsible person (Art. 30 DSA, § 4 FAGG). Their name and contact appear on event listings.

As an artist:

  • Terms leads to Requests. Set your booking conditions there. Your artist can always receive requests.
  • Responsible person names the person who maintains your artist profile.

For either kind, you can transfer responsibility to members with admin access. Close for good closes your organizer or artist permanently. To confirm, type the name.

Email carries the contact address guests see on the event page and at checkout, and the sender name of your emails. A new address only takes effect once you confirm the code we send to it.

2. Events

These settings are for organizers only:

  • Venues: your saved venues with areas and a crew template per area. When you create an event you pick the venue instead of typing the address again. A venue you no longer need is archived.
  • Positions: what the crew does at your events and which rights a position has at admission.
  • Ticket design: the wallet passes for Apple and Google that buyers receive with their tickets.
  • Gig page: what booked artists see and fill in on their gig page. Single events can override the template.

3. Sales

For organizers: Embeds creates the code for the ticket shop, event list, program and gift cards on your own website. Embeds are part of Pro.

4. Plan

Plan shows your plan, the ticket fee, your usage and your invoices, details in Plan. Partner program shows your referral link and your credit.

Partners must be established in Austria. For 6 months from the day a space is referred, they receive 35% of what Gathermatter keeps after tax and payment costs as credit. The Pro bonus is €69.00 for the first monthly Pro invoice or €138.00 for a yearly invoice within that window, credited after 30 days if the subscription remains active and the payment is not refunded. The referred space can order 3 months of Pro (90 days) without a subscription charge; a payment method is required and ticket and payment fees still apply.

Everyday tasks

After the first setup you rarely need Settings. Typical occasions: adding a venue, renaming a position, or transferring the responsible person after the general assembly.

Tips & FAQ

I can't see a row. The list only shows what belongs to your access and your roles. General and Email are for admins and owners.

Where are access and roles? With the members, under People › Members (details in Access and roles). The search in Settings takes you there.

Where do I set up payouts? As an organizer, under Finance › Payouts. The Plan page shows whether setup is complete. As an artist, set your booking conditions under Requests › Terms.

Can I restore a closed organizer or artist? Not yourself. Closing is meant to be permanent. If in doubt, contact support before you close.
