Edit ticket types

Set a ticket type’s price, quantity, sale window and default design.

Updated October 12, 2026

Overview

A ticket type sets the price and available quantity. You edit it in one sheet, including on your phone.

Setup

1. Open a ticket type

Open Event › Sell › Tickets. Create a type or tap an existing one. Enter its name, price and quantity.

A new type stays a draft until you choose Add ticket type. Cancel discards the draft.

Changes to an existing type save immediately: the name and text when you leave the field, design and selections when you choose them, and price phases and sale dates when you change them. Done only closes the sheet. There is no final save step.

2. Set the sale window

Without price phases, set the sale start and end. With price phases, each phase has its own end. The last phase’s end is the sale end. There is no second general end date.

3. Choose a design

New ticket types use Standard, which follows your space’s current default design. Change the default in Settings › Ticket design and all Standard types follow it automatically. An explicitly selected custom design stays selected.

4. Check Advanced

Advanced holds the visibility start, members-only visibility and order limits. Visibility start controls when the type appears. It does not replace the sale start.

For a new type, choose Add ticket type. For an existing type, Done closes the sheet. Errors appear beside the field that needs attention.

Everyday tasks

Reopen the same type to change quantity, times or design. When changing a price after sales have occurred, you must confirm the price change before it saves. Other changes already save before you choose Done.

Tips & FAQ

Why is there no general sale end? Price phases are active. Change the end of the last phase.

Why did the design change? Standard follows the space’s default design. Select a custom design if the ticket type should keep that design.
